Don’t see your question listed here? No problem! Submit your question below, give us a call or just stop by – we are always glad to help with any questions you may have.

1Is Busy Bees state licensed?

Yes.  Our facility is licensed by the state of Missouri and follows the guidelines and rules set forth by the state.

2What are your staff qualifications?

We perform criminal background checks and require our staff to be CPR and First Aid certified. We are very proud of our staff. From years of experience to Masters degrees, all of our teachers have great backgrounds!

3Are you open on days schools are closed?

Yes, we are available for snowdays, school vacations and in-service days.

4Can I make a reservation?

Yes. We encourage reservations to guarantee your child a spot. If you know that you will need care at a specific time, a reservation will guarantee your child a spot.

5What do I need to do to get started?

  • A completed registration form (you can submit this online or complete the form at your first visit)
  • Signed Parent Handbook (completed at your first visit)
  • Immunization Record of Medical Statement (we need these records within 7 days of registration)

6What is the staff to child ratio?

We follow the licensing regulations for the state of Missouri, however, it is just the nature of our services to be over staffed. We typically have very low staff to child ratios. Feel confident knowing your children will get the individual attention they deserve!

7 Do 3 year olds to 12 year olds play in the same area?

No. Children are kept with other children of their own age. This allows for the activities to be appropriate for that age group.

8What does my child need to bring with them?

  • Energy!
  • Socks.
  • A change of clothes(toddlers only)
  •  A sheet and blanket if napping.
  • A snack or meal if needed.

Please label all items with your child’s name.  We provide a refrigerator and microwave if needed.

9What makes Busy Bees different?

EVERYTHING! We offer reliable care without commitment. You only pay for the time your child attends Busy Bees. You can use our center whenever a need comes up.

Our schedule is designed to make each visit a new and positive experience. No matter what time of day you drop-in, your children can have fun participating in group activities, creating special art projects, using their imagination and making new friends.

10We have a regular provider, how are your services useful?

Think of us as an additional provider for your childcare needs. We could be a backup when your childcare provider is unable to care for your child. Use us on weekends or for occasional care. Use us for birthday parties or special occasions. Remember there is no commitment required.

11Why do you require registration and immunizations?

The registration fee is necessary in order to keep our hourly fees so affordable for our families. In order to do that, all craft supplies are purchased with your registration fees. Because Busy Bees is a licensed child care facility, immunizations are required by Missouri state law.

12What do I do if my child forgets socks, change of clothes or a snack?

We provide socks, snacks/meals and a change of clothes. Socks,  Underwear, and Snacks cost $3 each and tops and bottoms are $5 each.  Our clothing has the Busy Bees logo on it and is for sale to the general public.
